Thanks Alex for a wonderful post. I'm glad to have the true story of the Chess Cookies out there for all to see. After you and Wendy left, I noticed that Dusty Baker was truly dusty. He's been hanging around the flour in my kitchen a little too long, but he's cleaned up now and ready for another batch of Chess Cookies.
If our blog accomplishes nothing else in its lifetime, it's done its duty with the true story of the Chess Cookies.
